The Frame |
| The following pictures show a couple of shots of the old frame as well as the progression made so far with the construction of the new one. The new frame is being constructed from 3"x5"x3/16" tubing. This is adding about 200lbs to the total weight of the frame. The rear and steering xmembers as well as the bulkhead outrigger were removed from the old frame, stripped and then welded onto the new frame. The old transmission xmember is also going to be reused on the new frame but is being converted so that it can be unbolted if need be. |

| The outriggers that attach the front of the tub are made from the same 3x5 tubing as the frame and have been pre-drilled for the rocksliders. Also in the front can be seen the beginnings of the 2" hitch receivers. It will make more sense when the front bumper gets finished and bolted up. | ||
