We got to go to one of Saddams palaces. Got a bunch of photos. On the way back to the Airfield we got stopped at an Iraqi Police road block. There was a car about 300 meters ahead stopped in the road. Police said some guy just stopped. So the LT driving us around asked the Police "Want us to shoot the fawker for you?" Police goes, "Could You?" Then more folks show up and we end up having to turn around. Ahwell.

One of the palaces on near BIAP. This is the left hand view. The thing was build on stilts in a man made lake. The center of the building is open to the water. You can just make out the damaged portion on the far right end and the bridge and entry way.
