I created this web site to chronicle the
story of my restoration of a 1970 Series IIa 88" Land Rover, and to provide an
electronic information resource for this venerable off road workhorse.
Since these pages were initiated in 1988 the 88" has gone through a number of changes
and it is slowly moving further and further east.
Hopefully the trials and tribulations of my project will help others in their
struggles. Of course, as with all web sites, this place is a dynamic, growing,
changing beast. If you come across errors, want to add some tips or just want
